If pain must come...

If pain must come, may it come quickly. Because I have a life to live, and I need to live it in the best way possible. If he has to make a choice, may he make it now. Then I will either wait for him or forget him. Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering.

up up and away

A symphonic balance of captivating silence and clever dialogue, belly-laugh humor and tear-in-the-eye despair, fast-paced action scenes and scenes slowed for their precious detail, UP the newest movie offer from Disney Pixar tells the story of Carl Fredricksen a 78-year-old retired balloon salesman who – after the loss of his wife – is left agitated by the world around him and regretful of desires unfulfilled. An unfortunate altercation pushes Carl to escape society and finally chase after the couple’s lifelong dream. Carl quickly realizes he’s not alone in this adventure as 8-year-old wilderness explorer Russell has secretly stowed away for the ride.

A heart warming story of sentimentality, it speaks to the humanity in everyone. A sensitive and at the same time full of life and humor. UP delivers a wondrous world filled with people and creatures you'll fall head over heels in love with. For me it earns a spot as one of the best films of the year, and not just in the animated category.

addicted to Farmtown.

Farmtown girl, that's my nickname in the office. Before I start my work, break time and after work you can see me in my cubicle playing Farmtown. Farmtwon is a farming game available in Facebook that allows you design, grow and maintain your own farm. You plow fields, plant seeds, harvest crops (to sell), raise animals, and essentially build an entire farm from scratch.

You start at Level 1 as a "Getting Started Farmer". With the game "coins" you will begin by using the "hoe" icon to plow fields, the "store icon" to buy seeds to plant and the "scythe" icon to harvest them. Once you harvest them, you will see the harvests accumulate in your "shed". When you are ready, click the shed icon and it will take you to the market to sell the harvest for more coins. Then you go back to your farm to plow and plant more seeds!. It’s a fairly basic game but it can quickly become addictive as you strive to earn more money to build up your farm.

The more experience and money you have, the more your level will increase. With each new level, new seeds and farm items will become available for you to buy. The seeds will cost more but will yield more coins when harvested. The gifts you receive and send to neighbors will also be worth more, so start cultivating neighbors so you can receive gifts every day.

So join Farmtown now and be addictive to this lively and engaging game. See you soon farmers!

thank you, Pres.Cory.

The nation deeply mourns for the loss of a leader who paved way to the freedom we have right now. The first female President of South East Asia and Philippines Corazon Cojuangco Aquino has passed away. She lost her battle to colon cancer last August 1, 2009, 3.18 am in Makati Medical Center at the age of 76.

On her death, her magic is back. Last Monday, the same scenario of the People Power Revolution two decades ago was evident. Filipinos flocked to the streets and churches to pay their respect and say the final goodbye to the former president. Thousands came to the streets as her coffin was transported to the Manila Cathedral - showering the caravan with yellow confetti, waving yellow ribbons, wearing yellow shirts - the symbol of Corazon Aquino.

I was just 364 days old when the EDSA 1 happened, I may not personally experienced the greatness she has done for the country but the fact that I am enjoying and living in a democratic republic for that I am very thankful. To the icon of democracy, to the Yellow lady - goodbye and rest in peace.

excited for moi amiga!

Atlast after 4 years, I will be reunited with my barkada/classmate/roommate Haydee. She is my confidante in college, listener, adviser and partner in crime. Although we have different personality, we hardly argue and never clash, we have this give and take relationship that makes our bond stronger. She's like a sister to me, we even have this conjugal property rule in the boarding house :D Much about this amazing lady, im super excited to see her tomorrow. In additional Im also ecstatic to meet the man of his life, the man that captures her finical heart.

spiritual checkUp

Let's undergo a spiritual checkup, using Proverbs 4:20-27 as a checklist.

Ears (v. 20): Are we hearing God’s word clearly and with understanding? Are we doing what those words tell us?

Eyes (v. 21, 25): Are we keeping our eyes on the teachings that will guide us toward righteousness?

Heart (v. 23): Are we protecting our heart from evil?

Tongue (v. 24): Is our mouth clean and pure?

Feet (v. 26): Are we walking straight toward God’s truth without wavering?

...start doing this checkup to restore and grow in His ways.

what hurts the most

my heartbreak song that reminds me of a love that was never mine and never will be.

I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house
That don't bother me
I can take a few tears now and then and just let 'em out
I'm not afraid to cry every once in a while
Even though goin' on with you gone still upsets me
There are days every now and again I pretend
I'm okay but that's not what gets me

What hurts the most was/is bein' so close
And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away
And never knowin' what could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was tryin' to do

It's hard to deal with the pain of losin' you everywhere I go
But I'm doing it
It's hard to force that smile when I see our old friends
And I'm alone
Still harder gettin' up, gettin' dressed, livin' with this regret
But I know if I could do it over
I would trade, give away all the words that I saved
In my heart that I left unspoken

Not seeing that lovin' you
That's what I was tryin' to do

what hurts the most by rascal flatts

save monitos!

When I was a kid, i hardly filled up my piggy bank. Now that Im working, saving money is even much harder. For people who have problems like me, here are some tricks that we can use to help us save and save and save.

Eat at home and bring your own baon. when you're leaving the house 30 minutes before breakfast, lunch or dinner, just eat your meal at home. It saves you for spending an extra hundred or two at the food court, cafeteria or whereever you are heading.

When in doubt, dont! the next time you have the urge to buy that really cute dress or that super cheap accessory, think twice before pulling out your wallet. If a small part of you feels unsure about the item, drop it and walk away.

Water, please! most restaurant goers dont realize that most of the profit is raked from drinks. Try asking for a complimentary house water instead of ordering a drink. Besides, water is healthier that those sugary beverages.

Upsize me.
we grew up with a tinge of mentality that when you buy things in sachets and small packs its cheap. In reality, buying the biggest size will save you more especially if you're using it for long term.

Make a shopping list. list down the things that you really need to buy and go through it twice. Then give yourself a strict rule: if its not on the list, I aint buying it!

Dont be a sucker for freebies. freebies are great but sometimes it lo buying things lures us into buying things we dont need. Purchase something because you need it, not because you want the freebie.

Avoid convenience stores. their price tags are significantly higher than groceries and markets. Next time, if the grocery store is just nearby, get your items there.

As early as today, we must start saving for retirement and emergency expenses. Happy saving!

take care of your EyEs

Im the newest addition in my family that wear glasses, at first Im excited to have one coz before I think wearing glasses will make you look smarter and appealing. But the time I had my own pair of spectacles, I felt uncomfortable but I cant do anything I have to wear one.

For those who are still enjoying the 20 20 vision, you are so blessed. So here are some tips to care for our eyesight.
  • Include green vegetable and fruits in your diet. They not only help you have an improved vision, but assist in keeping your eyes healthy and fit as well. Lack of Vitamin A can cause severe eye damage, so make sure to increase the intake of foods rich in the vitamin.
  • Carrots are especially recommended, if you want to take good care of your eyes. This is because they are laden with beta carotene, which is especially helpful in maintaining healthy eyes
  • Make it a routine to keep freshly cut cucumber slices over your eyes for at least 10 minutes, before going to sleep, every day. This is also an effective way to prevent puffiness and inflammation.
  • Take preventive measures especially when working with chemicals or harmful airborne particulates.Wear goggles or any other eye protective wear is a must in such circumstances.
  • Those wearing contact lenses should not extend the duration to more than 12 hours. Though companies may claim of no-harm caused, it is after all an outside element. When worn for a long time, on continuous basis, contact lenses might cause permanent damage and discomfort.
  • Before using any type of eye-drops, make sure you read the label well. Almost all the drops available in the market suggest not using them, while wearing contact lenses.
  • Provide proper protection from the sun's ultraviolet rays. Common sense eye care dictates that you make sure to wear eyewear that is blocking out as much of the harmful rays as possible. Your choice of eyewear may include sunglasses, contact lenses, or clipons if you wear prescription eyeglasses.
  • Refrain from smoking and alcohol. A good way to protect your eyes, apart from the innumerous other health benefits it has.
  • Regular check ups prove to be one of the effective means of caring for your eyes.

goodbye ...moonwalk

in memory of the King of Pop - Michael Jackson here is one of my fave song.

"You Are Not Alone"

Another day has gone
I'm still all alone
How could this be
You're not here with me
You never said goodbye
Someone tell me why
Did you have to go
And leave my world so cold

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

But you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone

'Lone, 'lone
Why, 'lone

Just the other night
I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come
And hold you in my arms
I can hear your prayers
Your burdens I will bear
But first I need your hand
Then forever can begin

Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
For you are not alone

Whisper three words and I'll come runnin'
And girl you know that I'll be there
I'll be there

You are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay

For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart

For you are not alone...

my best girLfriends

raine and mai, my super best girlfriends, thank you for the love and care. miss u so so much sisters...xoxo!

Everytime I tell people that we are friends since grade school, all I can hear is wow! They cant believe that we're still connected after all these years. Yes, I am very proud to be part of this amazing friendship. The greatest distance cannot separate best friends. You will always feel a kinship, a magic that ties no matter what. One of the best gift in my life that I will forever treasure and never ever let go.

Gossip Girl plus Hilary Duff

Im still in hype everytime I watch the finale episode of Gossip Girl season 2, I love how Chuck said I love you after Blair's long wait. The third season of the show will premiere on September 14, 2009. As a certified Upper East Sider fan im so excited for the next season - college life.

What doubles my agitation is CW's confirmation that Hilary Duff is joining the cast of Gossip Girl for a multi-episode guest arc. [im an avid Hilary Duff fan:-) ]. Duff is set to play a girl named Olivia, Vanessa's (Jessica Szohr) new roommate at NYU, but that connection to V is not all that Olivia brings to the show. Olivia is a movie star who just wants to live a simple peasant girl's life at college and date a simple, nonfamous guy. Lucky for Olivia, then, that Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) wants to hook up with her and that in typical Dan fashion, he has no idea she's famous. Not only are Dan and Serena all permanently broken up, but Dan is stepping out on Serena with this new girl Olivia. Duff will debut in this season's fourth episode, slated to air Oct. 5.

Aside from Waldass and Nate this is one Im looking forward...cant wait for GG time - xoxo.

wait and hope

Dont let yourself fall in love with somebody just to say that you've fallen in love. Wait and hope for the kind of guy you dream of.

Dont let your age or your circumstances diminish the way that you dream. Wait and hope.

Dont lower your standards just so you have a guy on your arm and a vase full of flowers on your dresser. Wait and hope.

Dont let your fear make you ignore the deepest dreams in your heart. Wait and hope.

wait and hope...

moving on

Moving on... since the start of 2009 this is my mantra. Sad to say I failed to put efforts to this words. Maybe because deep inside me I am still hoping and madly wishing that there will be a change of heart but it never happened. It is painful to say goodbye to a love that was never meant and was never mine to begin. After all, I wasnt supposed to fall in love with him, I wasnt supposed to expect anything to come out of our friendship. But my lonely heart fell in love.

As I welcome a great opportunity in my career, I am also setting a new page in my life. A page without him. I know it will be a long and rocky road but with the courage and faith in my heart, I will get there. Like they say life is really about moving on...

soundtrack of me - DRIVE

Sometimes, I feel the fear of uncertainty stinging clear
And I can't help but ask myself how much I let the fear
Take the wheel and steer
It's driven me before
And it seems to have a vague, haunting mass appeal
But lately I'm beginning to find that I
Should be the one behind the wheel

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
I'll be there

So if I decide to waiver my chance to be one of the hive
Will I choose water over wine and hold my own and drive?
It's driven me before
And it seems to be the way that everyone else gets around
But lately I'm beginning to find that
When I drive myself my light is found

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
I'll be there

Would you choose water over wine
Hold the wheel and drive

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
With open arms and open eyes yeah

Whatever tomorrow brings, I'll be there
I'll be there

love lessons

“When an emotional injury takes place,

The body begins a process
As natural as the healing
Of a physical wound

Let the process happen.
Trust that nature
Will do the healing.

Know that the pain will pass,
And, when it passes
You will be stronger;
Happier, more sensitive and aware.”

There was this girl who always dreamed of having someone…someone to hold…someone to lean on…someone to love… and someone to share the rest of her days with.

Then suddenly out of nowhere, someone came along…someone that made her life worth living for…someone that made her feel complete…they were lost in their own world…staring deeply into each others eyes…sharing laughter and tears…but it didn’t end there. They had so many memories to look back on…through letters, to pictures, to trials and tribulations…nothing could tear them apart…till fate stepped in. There was the girl, lying on the ground crying in a river of tears…”How could this happen? How could her only love deceive her, was the love she gave him not enough? What did she do wrong?

Then she stopped crying, wiped the last tear on her cheek and asked help from above…and soon she began to realize that after awhile a person will learn the subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul, then she will learn that love doesn’t mean leaning and company doesn’t mean security, and then she learns that kisses aren’t contracts and presents aren’t promises, and finally she would begin to accept her defeats with her head up and her eyes open, with the grace of an adult, not the grief of a child, then she would learn that even sunshine burns if you get too much… so the girl finally decided to plant her own garden and decorate her own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring her flowers, she then told herself, I can endure, I am strong. I have worth.

Well you see life is trial and error, we win some we lose some, but through it all we learn to accept, to forgive, and to have the courage to say… life goes on.
